To my site. I am running for Metro Council at Large and do hope you will join me in the campaign for the position. Your vote will be very important as we move forward the next four years. What direction the government will take will definitely be up to the voters, and the people they will select to represent them.

The questions that you would need to ask yourself are: Do we the people need further growth, development, and spending? or Do we want to move forward with an opportunity to review and analyze where we are and where we are going? Or Do we want to move forward in the direction of a greater quality of life by supporting what is around us and make changes?

Whatever Metro, the people, or the government direction will be, it will definitely be the people to make the decision. It is the mission of this council member to take a look at what can be managed in more effective means and hopefully move Metro in the direction of holding expenses, creating opportunities that will enhance the growth in a moderate manner while at the same time preserving what has to be handled. In order to so, spending will have to be contained and supported by a body of elected officials that can reach such established goals and move Metro in a manner for all to enjoy. This would include as well to improve services, prepare for the baby boom generation coming in, and create the retention of the young adults moving into the work arena, and maintaining good recreational and education focus for the growth of the young.

In order to accomplish such objectives, it will be necessary to look a the spending patterns and how Metro and the people are gaining on their investment. The legislative pattern is becoming boggled down with all the regulations and is that what Metro needs in trying to move forward. Trying to cut short and reducing citizens to hearing of issues is not where the people need to be.

The future of 2011 in Council will definitely need for the voters to start thinking of what they want and where they will be. Therefore, be involved in the election and lets get participated so the end goal will be where you want to be me.
